Hey! My name is Brooke, and I love Jesus. For most of my college years, I lived with unbearable back pain. I had to quit collegiate swimming and, instead, go to the chiropractor and massage clinic at least twice a month. It wasn't until my senior year that I asked Jesus Christ to heal me. I'll never forget the moment I asked Him—two jolts of electricity shot up my back. Ironically, I brushed it off as if nothing happened. A few days later though, I was sitting in the library and suddenly realized my back pain was completely gone. Wow, Jesus healed me.

Since the night Jesus healed me, my heart has burned to tell the world about Jesus and who He really is - a real, loving, caring, good, faithful God and best friend. I have turned to Jesus in the darkest and loneliest times of my life, only to find deep solace, incomprehensible peace, and a love I never knew. It is my greatest longing for others to encounter and know Jesus the same way He has allowed me to. My hope is that LIGHTHOUSE will serve as a reminder to myself and to others that no matter what you're facing, Jesus and His light will carry you through.
